Vehicle Type

Blind spots vary by industry and vehicle type. The problem areas for a wheel loader in a construction site are much different than those of a shovel working in a mine. That is also true for a waste truck working in a neighborhood versus a utility truck working at a busy intersection. In order to pick the correct solution, you need to take the following into consideration:

• Maneuvering: Does the vehicle need to maneuver around tight spaces and make quick starts and stops?
• Activity: Does the vehicle operate in congested areas?
• Vehicle Blind Spot: Is your blind spot behind you, in front of you, or to the side? How far or close-in should you detect?
• Proximity to homes and businesses: Do you need to reduce noise levels from back-up alarms to make peace with neighboring communities and businesses? We can help with that too.
