Introducing the latest breakthrough in the PreView family of radar-based products—PreView ClearPath Integrated Safety System (ISS).
PreView ClearPath ISS integrates the consistency of our PreView Radar Sensors with the quality of PreView ClearPath Camera to provide drivers with a comprehensive object detection solution that meets the rugged conditions common in the heavy duty industry.
Simple to understand, the PreView Sensors and ClearPath Camera is mounted on the exterior of the vehicle. The cables feed through the vehicle to connect the VideoLink and in-cab monitor to the sensors (see image below).
Fully Integrated
Once installed, the system is easy to use. Once an object is detected by the sensor, an audible warning is sent to the driver. Additionally,indicators are superimposed onto the monitor. This provides the driver an idea of how close the object is to the sensor. As the object gets closer to the sensor, the audible alert increases in speed and more indicators light up on the monitor. The end result is the driver receives a “tap on the shoulder” that he may need to change his course. By integrating the two displays, the driver doesn’t have to deal with unnecessary distractions.
